On the 19th October 2025 band performed a very ambitious programme depicting the Gresford Mining Disaster by using musing from the classical world, pop world and featuring the Gresford Hymn written for the minors lost.

John Watts and the band gave a very emotional and overall optimistic performance that secured the prize for Entertainment and also the Compare prize for our 2nd Euphonium Leighton Corneilius.
